F3 Racer Ben Hurst Joins Go Motorsport Management

Canadian F3 driver Ben Hurst is the latest driver to join Go Motorsport Management as it expands its driver management and driver development programme.

Hurst, who is based in the UK but originally from Oakville, Ontario, raced Formula Ford in his native Canada for three years, with additional outings in the USA, and also in the legendary Formula Ford Festival in 2017 at Brands Hatch where he raced after being selected for the ‘Team Canada’ scholarship.

Beginning his career in 2014, the Canadian started out in karts but quickly moved into cars. Debuting in Formula Ford the following season, he finished fourth in the Ontario Championship and was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ and ‘Best New Driver’.

In his second season Hurst went on to finish inside the top 10 of the championship in both the Ontario Series and the Quebec Series. He then enjoyed his best year to date in 2017 by becoming the Toyo Tires F1600 Champion and going on to be selected for the ‘Team Canada’ Scholarship. 2018 saw Ben graduate to the BRDC F3 Championship in the UK with Hillspeed competing in 24 races on the BRDC F3 calendar.

Ben Hurst

“2018 was a great year for me racing a much faster car on some very demanding circuits against a very competitive field of drivers. I feel I have learnt a lot this year and want to take that to the next level in my career. To do this I need the right people around me and I certainly have that with the experience that Go Motorsport Management has. I’m really excited to move on to the next chapter in my career”.

Mick Gomme, Managing Director

“I am delighted to welcome Ben on to our programme, as always, we are identifying drivers who show all of the attributes to becoming a professional racing driver and Ben certainly has those. Our team will start working with Ben immediately and start planning the next step in his career”.
