Solid Debut for Hurst and Stanley in British GT

Go Motorsport Management drivers Ben Hurst and Micah Stanley had a solid debut in the British GT Championship over the Easter weekend. Driving one of the Academy Motorsports new Aston Martin Vantage GT4 cars in one of the most competitive GT4 grids to date the pairing performed well all weekend despite minimal testing hampered mostly by bad weather prior to the first event.

Finishing race one in 12thposition and race two in 8thposition the pairing picked up valuable points in the GT4 Silver Cup Championship.

It was my first race weekend in a GT car after racing in F3 last year and it was always going to be really tough. We had a really fantastic weekend, the goal was to finish both races, which we did and picked up points too. We have some things to work on before the next race.

Micah Stanley

I’m really happy with how we performed over the weekend especially as I have never raced at Oulton Park before, Ben and the team did a great job all weekend and we will be working hard before the next race which I’m really looking forward to.

The next race is at Snetterton on the 18th& 19thMay
