10 Questions with Sennan Fielding

How old were you when you started racing?

I was 7 years old just turning 8

Do you remember your first race if so where was it?

Yes, I remember it well it was at Tattershall- when I nearly ran a marshal over.

Are you superstitious?

Slightly - always wear odd socks and in single seaters I had to get in from the left-hand side.

Favourite colour and number?

Number 3 and my racing colour is green, however it isn't necessarily my favourite colour. Although my helmet started off green and because I’m superstitious I don't want to change the design or colour, too much.

Which racing driver has inspired you the most and why?

One person who was an inspiration was Ayrton Senna, even though I never got to watch him race... Watching videos of him, you knew who would do anything to win.

How did you come up with the design for your helmet?

JLF did my first helmet design and I've just made minor changes throughout my career.

What is your favourite track and why?

Spa is an incredible circuit to drive, it some extremely challenging and technical parts to the track.

Any disappointments this season?

A fair few, however the progress I and the team have made in British GT with Steller and in China GT with K2C Motorsport has been incredible.

What was your best race this season and why?

China GT, the first race with Kenny. There was a safety car and I was running P10, with 2 laps to go we ended P2.

How would you sum up your season?

Roller coaster of a year but a fantastic year. I've been given the opportunity by some amazing people to show what I can do on the track and we have just made endless amounts of progress.
