Smith Dominates Donington with Unstoppable GT Cup Quadruple

Mark Smith and Paddock Motorsport enjoyed a dream weekend at Donington Park in the McLaren 720S GT3 delivering a flawless clean sweep, taking victory in all four races of the GT Cup Championship (21 September).
Saturday SuccessSmith kicked things off in style with back-to-back wins in mixed conditions, moving his tally to eleven victories for the 2025 season. Having missed Silverstone earlier in the year, the double triumph reignited his GT3 title bid.
Sunday PerfectionSunday saw more of the same. Smith controlled the Endurance race with a composed drive, before capping the weekend in emphatic style with a lights-to-flag Sprint victory, leaving the chasing pack firmly in his mirrors.
“Four wins from four is just fantastic,” said Smith. “The team gave me a great car, and it feels amazing to come back this strong after missing Silverstone. Now it’s all about carrying this momentum into Snetterton.”
Mark Smith now leads the GT3 Championship with the GT Cup season concluding at the Snetterton 300 circuit on 11–12 October.
