Branden Templeton and team mate Jack Collins enjoyed a highly successful weekend at Snetterton, securing a double podium in the GT4 Silver class and continuing their impressive run of form in the British GT Championship.

The Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT4, affectionately known as ‘Chomp’, showed strong pace throughout the weekend, with Templeton and Collins delivering two composed and competitive race performances.

Qualifying

Collins qualified in P4 in the Silver class for race 1 with Templeton qualifying in P5 in the Silver class for race 2.

With the BMW showing strong race pace, the Century Motorsport pairing headed into the two-race programme confident of fighting their way towards the front of the highly competitive GT4 field.

Race 1

Starting fourth in the GT4 Silver class, Collins made steady progress during the opening race and delivered when it mattered most handing over to Templeton when the pit window opened.

Templeton maintained a strong pace throughout the race, managing the intense competition to bring ‘Chomp’ home in an impressive third place overall in GT4 and third in the Silver class.

The podium result provided a strong start to the day and set the team up for another opportunity to fight at the front in Race 2.

Race 2

Starting fifth in the Silver class, the duo produced another determined drive, making up positions during the race before crossing the finish line second in the GT4 Silver class.

The result secured a second podium of the day and completed a fantastic double-podium weekend for Templeton and Collins.

With a P3 and P2 in the Silver class, alongside a P3 overall finish in Race 1, the Snetterton weekend represents another excellent points haul for the Century Motorsport pairing and further evidence of their growing competitiveness in the British GT4 Championship.

Following their maiden GT4 victory at Oulton Park and Silver class podiums at Spa-Francorchamps, Templeton and Collins continue to build strong momentum as they head to Donington Park for the next round of the championship in three weeks time.
