Jac Maybin Takes Maiden Win at Oulton Park

Go Motorsport Management driver Jac Maybin took his maiden win at Oulton Park over the Easter weekend in the JCW Mini Challenge.

After a fantastic podium in race one Maybin lined up fourth on the 26-car grid for race two, a good start saw him hold on to his position and by lap five he was up to second place. Towards the end of lap seven a fantastic move saw him pass the #18 car to take the lead and despite huge pressure from the perusing pack Maybin crossed the line 0.854 of a second in front of the #18 car to take his maiden win in the series.

I’ve been working really hard over the winter and new we were in good shape, I felt really confident coming into this race weekend. Both races were really tough but my pace and the car were really good. Taking my first win in cars is a fantastic feeling but I’m eager to keep the momentum going now and can’t wait for the next race.
