SIXTH PODIUM OF SEASON AT NURBURGRING FOR BARTHOLOMEW & MIDDLETON KEEPS LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO
Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship contenders Jack Bartholomew & Stuart Middleton kept their hopes of claiming the coveted title in their maiden European season alive at the Nurburgring on Sunday, 1st September, after securing their sixth podium of 2019.
Following a top four finish in round nine on Saturday, 31st August, the Bonaldi Motorsport drivers converted their second front-row start of the weekend into the runner-up position in round 10 on Sunday morning to depart Germany third in the standings.
With just two races now remaining in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season, at the end of October in Jerez, Spain, the British pairing are 16 points shy of second in the title battle and 21 points adrift of the top of the championship.
The sixth and final race meeting of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season will take place at the end of October at Jerez in Spain, as part of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo ‘World Final’ weekend.
