Dorlin Shows Determination Despite Challenging Oulton Park Weekend

James Dorlin endured a frustrating weekend at Oulton Park but demonstrated impressive resilience to secure another points finish despite battling technical issues.

The weekend began on the back foot for Dorlin, who started race one out of position following a grid penalty. With the hard tyre compound required for one of the three races, James used the opening encounter to complete that obligation before making encouraging progress through the field in race two.

Race three looked set to provide the opportunity for a strong result, but a power steering issue that developed on the grid left Dorlin facing an uphill challenge. Forced to wrestle the car throughout the race, he showed great determination to bring the car home and salvage valuable championship points despite the difficult conditions.

While the results did not fully reflect the pace shown across the weekend, there were positives to take away as the team heads into the BTCC summer break.

The focus now turns to Thruxton at the end of July, where Dorlin and the team will look to regroup, reset, and return to action with renewed momentum for the second half of the season.
