Nestled in the heart of the Ardennes Forest, Spa offered a thrilling mix of world-class racing and intense summer heat, with temperatures soaring to 33°C over the British GT weekend.
In Saturday’s qualifying session, Car 14—driven by Branden Templeton and Chris Salkeld—secured P3 in the Silver Cup and P5 overall, setting the stage for a strong podium challenge in the three-hour race.
Templeton took the opening stint and delivered an outstanding drive, carving his way through the field and mounting a serious bid for the overall GT4 lead. However, hopes were dashed when a fueling issue struck the #14 Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT4,stopping him on track and forcing a premature retirement, cutting short what had been Branden’s best performance of the season.
The next round of the British GT Championship will be at Snetterton on 12th & 13th of July.
