Season best result for De La Torre at Miami Grand Prix

Elias De La Torre IV achieved his seasons best result at the Miami F1 Grand Prix at the weekend with a P8 in Race 1 of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Championship.

A difficult qualifying saw Elias line up in P24 for race 1 on the tight street circuit in Miami. At the start he immediately jumped up two places and as the race went on continued to steadily move up the field. With several incidents & full course yellows Elias took advantage at the restarts and managed to work his way through to P8 at the flag, a season’s best result at his home race and more valuable points scored.
