Solid Debut for Yoder in Lamborghini Super Trofeo
Aidan Yoder made a solid debut at the weekend in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series North America, at the WeatherTech Raceway Leguna Seca.
With Aidan’s teammate, Jordan Missig racing in the Indy Pro 2000 for this event Aidan opted to drive alone for the two 50 minute races in the #53 Wayne Taylor Racing Lamborghini Super Trofeo Evo 2.
Having only driven the car once before the event at a shake down Aidan impressed by qualifying for race 1 in P12 (P7 in class) and P10 (P7 in class) for race 2.
A solid drive in both races, still learning the car, netted Aidan P7 (Pro) in race 1 and P6 (Pro) in race 2 in the super competitive field of drivers.

“It was an incredible weekend, overall. I came in with the intention of learning as much as I could and absorbing information from all the Wayne Taylor Racing drivers. I found myself getting more and more comfortable in the car throughout each practice session. I was faster in each consecutive session and throughout qualifying. In Race 2, I ended with what I felt was my best drive of the weekend. There’s a lot to be proud of. I learned a lot about the tires and the car and it was a huge confidence builder this weekend.”
The next round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America will be at Nola Motorsports Park, Louisiana on May 21st& 22nd.
